That's all Folks!

Hi folks!!
Everything is over now. I would like to congratulate all those of you who are going on to NI1. Make the most of it and keep working hard on your English!
As for those of you who did not pass, I am really sorry, but I am sure you will do better next year. You will have brand new teachers for NB2, so it will be a whole new experience this time.

In case you need to know, this blog will still be here for anyone who needs to consult it, but I will also start two new ones for the groups I will teach this year in Águilas, NB2 and NI1. You are more than welcome to visit them. Just click on View my complete profile on the right-hand side below my photo and you will find them.

Finally, I would like to say that it has been a real pleasure teaching all of you. I had lots of fun with you! I am sure the new teachers will too.

Take care and maybe I will see you around!

Like Porky Pig used to say: That's all folks!

P.S. Here is one more link that I think can be very useful to you. Check it out: More than English

Yesterday I watched the last Pixar's film Up and I loved it. That is why I have decided to post here a video with the original trailer and a short listening activity for you.
Maybe you have already seen the film, but if you haven't, you really should go to the cinema and see it. I can honestly say it's the best animated film I have seen in years. It is really sweet and funny.
So... what are you waiting for?

Enjoy!!

September Dates for your Tests

Hello there everyone!!
How is your summer goin
g? I hope you're having a great time if you're on holidays and, if you're not, I hope you're OK too!
As you can see, I've posted the
September dates for your exams on the right-hand side of the blog below the photo.

Besides, I have some news for you. In September I will
not be at the school because my
contract ends on August 31st and it hasn't been renewed, so I will be unemployed. (Not for a long time, I hope!!). But you don't have to worry!! The other teachers will take care of you and if you study and practise your English, you will pass your exams!! Just be optimistic and work hard!! ;)
To help you, I am going to post more useful links for you to practise your listening and writing skills, etc, so stay tuned!And... don't be like the girl in the cartoon!!

Site with Listening Tests

Hi there everyone!!
I've found a very interesting site created by another EOI (from Aragón) where you can take listening tests. You need to click on tests with 2 stars, because that is your level. I especially recommend those listenings with multiple choice, true or false and grid completion activities. You can also check your own answers.
Click here to visit the site.

I hope you do them!! ;)
